To Madden Players Everywhere:

King Of The Couch will announce the date and locations for our annual $10,000 Madden World Championship sponsored by GameStop and DeVry University shortly.  This event has been exclusively in Texas for the past few years but this year it will be different.

We will have two locations competing simultaneously in both Texas and in New Jersey.  The winners can then battle online.  This is a unique approach and we are up for the challenge.  Travel has been an issue for many ballers over the years so this time we will have the event at two locations.  The response from all over the country has been overwhelming and we at KOTC are psyched as we prepare for this monumental event.  In the coming weeks our KOTC staff will be busy preparing for this event at both locations.  We will feature both PS2 and 360 versions of Madden.  We chose this format to maximize our overall attendance.  

Until then, we encourage you to attend the upcoming KOTC events to get ready for the BIG ONE.  The best Madden talent in the world will be assembled for this event.  Whether you attend the event in NJ or in Texas,  this will be one to remember.  We are enthusiastic about the feedback we are getting and we appreciate the patience of the Madden community as we work on all of the logistics for this event.  We thank you for your patience, enthusiasm and support.  Our goal is to make this happen in late April.  Let's get ready to make history KOTC style.
